Christmas Time

We started our Christmas time with the Parade of Lights in Denver this year.

Ugly Sweater Party

Our ward had an ugly sweater christmas party and Gabi and I decided to go for the 1st prize. So bought matching women's cardigans and color coordinated our turtle necks and won 1st prize. Well worth it.

Usually on Christmas Eve we read the story of the Birth of the Savior from the Bible but this year we reenacted it. This is a tradition for Kate and Aaron so parts were given and costumes were found. I think we did a pretty great job.

Wisemen

Shepherds and sheep

The whole cast (except one wisemen to take the picture)

I realize that most people say this but I really do have the greatest family. I love being an Aunt and I have a greatest nephews and niece. I have been lucky this year to be able to spend a lot of time with them with visits to California, Kansas, and Utah for a baby blessing. They change so fast. Here are some of my favorite pictures of Auntie time.

My computer has this program that makes funny pictures. We were entertained for almost an hour. These are some of my favorites

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we went to Los Alamos to spend it with Gabi and his parents. We had a Thanksgiving Day miracle, a white Thanksgiving.

We had Thanksgiving at some friend's house. There were 26 people and the food was great. Gabi's mom wanted to have leftovers too so we had a 2nd Thanksgiving dinner on Friday. It was also amazing.

Gabi's parents are adding a new bedroom on their house so we helped.

Carol and I pulled wire all day on Friday. I found 2 dead mice and almost had a spider attack me.

Carol and I marked our territory.

The working crew.

The wall we helped drywall (I think that is what it is called)

We went back to Denver for Sunday and my parents come up so Gabi made another turkey. Yes that makes 3 thanksgiving dinners.

I am not sure why but it is a tradition for me to take a picture with the cranberries. I don't even like them.
